IVAVIK Cluster
The IVAVIK cluster is a group of computers used for scientific and educational activities within the research group Structure of Biosystems and Molecular Materials (SBMM - Radek Marek). The cluster consists of servers and personal computers, which are mainly located in the building C04 at University Campus Bohunice.
The Ubuntu Linux OS is installed on all computers. There are various software packages for computational quantum chemistry and NMR spectroscopy installed on the cluster.
Automatic cluster shutdown and remote access
Automatic shutdown of workstations is activated on the cluster. If necessary, it is possible to turn on individual nodes remotely and use the remote desktop from a web browser, see Internal Area > Remote Access.
Account management
To access the IVAVIK cluster, users must have an e-INFRA account and work on projects of the SBMM research group.
- To request for an account, register into SBMM group (Radek Marek) by filling two applications at https://einfra.ncbr.muni.cz. One is for NCBR@MUNI virtual organizations, the second one is for SBMM group.
- To reset a password or change the account, see your e-INFRA profile.
